Soviet criminal justice meets the American Society of Criminology |
The IGS team organized a rare panel on former Soviet criminal justice at the American Society of Criminology held in Atlanta, Georgia. One of the goals of the IGS project is to show how the experiences of mass incarceration in the former Soviet Union can speak to issues faced by countries with large and increasing incarceration rates such as the United States.
